What data do we collect
Our Membership Applications and message enquiries collect your name, surname, email, mobile number, city, date of birth, chosen disciplines such as race leagues and any message you send. Events data may be collected including race times, and may be published and shared with other members if needed to verify results or tackle any disputes arising from the nature of racing.
Why we collect this data
To review applications for approval, run racing events, publish results, provide coaching feedback, supply race calendar updates and pricing changes.
Young Minor Driver or Parent/Guardian
Should a driver be under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must submit the application and remains the contact of record for the minor driver. Should a driver be over 18 years of age, the applicant is accepted.
Data Sharing
We will never sell your data. We may share your data with 3rd party suppliers such as race track establishments. We will share the necessary information with race track establishments or them with us for lap times and duration upon race entry. The consent to participate must be shared with Speedster and 3rd party establishments such as race track owners and management.
User Rights
In reference to the POPIA Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email speedsterracing25@gmail.com and we will action it.
